Unlike many non-profits, the Cleveland Eye Bank was not looking first and foremost for donations. What was more important on this occasion, their 50th anniversary, was to remind us of the critical role sight plays in our everyday lives and to encourage us all to take good care of our eyes, so we never need their services. And then, donations are always welcome, too.
